Land Rover has announced the unveiling of an all-new Land Rover Defender concept, the DC100, scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show. Intended as a modern take on the classic Land Rover Defender, the DC100 isn’t a production ready concept, as Land Rover has confirmed that a new Defender model won’t be launched until 2015.
The DC100 explores the potential future of the iconic Defender with a modern take of the 4x4's utilitarian, purpose-driven design. Lets just hope Land Rover finally brings the good ol' Defender back stateside.
The Land Rover Defender has become an icon, a legend, in the car industry and loved among purists. At the Frankfurt Auto Show next month, Land Rover will be revealing the Land Rover Defender DC100 Concept, their first attempt at a new design of the car.
