Hyundai EON coming soon in India in October

Hyundai decided that its i10 model isn’t small enough so the South Korean automaker has announced that a new model will enter its lineup, the Hyundai Eon.
The sketches released by Hyundai reveal a small five-door hatchback with the company’s hexagon grille, long headlamps and wavy lines while the rear end is unmistakable with those vertical lamps. The new Hyundai Eon is expected to be priced at 2.5 – 3 lakh rupees or RM 16.2k to RM 19.5k.

Called "Hyundai Eon", the affordable five-door hatch will be Hyundai’s weapon against India’s best seller, the Maruti Alto (not to be confused with our Suzuki Alto, which is called A-Star there) as well as high spec versions of the Tata Nano.
The rear end is also unmistakably Hyundai with those long vertical lamps. The design, which directs one’s eyes to the centre console, is also in line with Hyundai’s latest products

Indian auto market has witnessed the launch and the success story of this car long time ago, which ultimately makes it a more trustworthy and known name. The Indian auto industry has continuously welcomed Hatchbacks and small cars.

The new introduction by Hyundai is expected to act as a replacement for the ace car Hyundai Santro. Hyundai believes that Hyundai Eon would make use of its high-end performance and satisfactory fuel economy to battle against big brand cars.
In terms of appearance, Hyundai Eon overshadows Alto with a fresh and ore advanced look. Hyundai Eon is equipped with a three-Pot Petrol engine.

The Hyundai camp is relying upon the small car to increase its market share in India and achieve a successful sales figure. With a price that falls well before 3 lacs, Hyundai EON can give a harrowing time to its rivals.

Along with the launch in India, the car maker is mulling upon exporting the car abroad. Thus, Hyundai Eon is yet another promising car that would live up to the expectations of the maker as well as the buyers.
