2011 Honda Ridgeline

The 2011 Honda Ridgeline stands out against the big dogs in the truck genre, namely the Ford F150, as a comfortable commuter vehicle with excellent storage capacity and enough power to handle the occasional load. Sold in an MSRP range of $19,150 to $37,080, the Ridgeline gets 15 mpg city and 20 highways.

The Ridgeline's anybody construction makes for a smooth ride, more like a minivan or large car. With an innovative in-bed storage compartment, which amounts to an 8.5-cubic-foot trunk that locks, the Ridgeline has one of the most unique beds of any truck on the market. Standard features include power locks and windows, six cup holders, a remote release for the fuel door, and cruise control mounted on the steering wheel. The standard AM/FM/CD unit can read MP3 and WMA discs. (There's 2.6 cubic feet of under the seat storage on the second row.) While the Ridgeline performed well in 2010 testing, it has not undergone full tests with the newer, more stringent requirements in place. The 2011 Honda Ridgeline is a vehicle that sits between classes. It won't suit every driver, but if you have needs peculiar to its unique design, the Ridgeline could be the sport utility vehicle of your dreams.
2011 Honda Ridgeline

The Honda Ridgeline last received a few changes in 2009. The 2011 Honda Ridgeline will see a redesign for 2011. Expect the vehicle to be released in late 2010. Pricing: car pricing won’t be available until shortly before its release date. Fuel economy: current fuel economy is 15 mpg city/20 mpg highway. The 2011 Honda Ridgeline will be a lighter, more aerodynamic vehicle, and will get better gas mileage. Engine: current engine is a 3.5-liter V6. Car safety features: safety features are likely to be carried over or improved upon into the new design. Antilock brakes, stability control, side curtain airbags, and front seat side impact airbags are likely to continue as features.

Two-zone automatic climate control, powered seats, fog lights, leather upholstery, satellite radio, and Bluetooth should be available on upgraded trims. As part of the redesign, trim levels, and features that are included in each model, may see changes.

The performance of the 2011 Honda Ridgeline could change dramatically as a result of its redesign.
Honda's forward-thinking on safety technology is evident throughout the Honda Ridgeline. There are side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor, electronic brake distribution (adjusts brake pressure between front and rear wheels depending on cargo load), brake assist and an electronic stability system with traction control.
