We like the Renault Clio RS. For us there is no compact hot hatch as pure and uncivilized as the fastest Clio. The combination of chassis and naturally aspirated engine are excellent. But with the increasingly stringent environmental requirements would be at the end that relationship can be.
During our last trip with the Renault Clio RS we wrote is still "relatively powerful naturally aspirated engines are threatened with extinction. The emission standards for cars ever to sharpen their is almost literally choked. Thus, the current Clio RS in its class, but also (in the niche) outside sometimes is the last of the Mohicans. Turbo, superchargers or all kinds of tools are required to continue to meet the rules at least a constant level of performance. The probability that the new Clio RS over an air accelerator will have, therefore, is considerable.
The Renault Clio RS has never been the strongest in its class, but the best. Our thanks for this goes to the chassis magicians at Renault Sport. They know exactly how you should build a base that actually contributes to enhanced driving experience. Again and again they have proven that the expectations are high for the new Clio RS, who probably also in Gordini version comes. Optical treats the model again in a Formula 1-style front spoiler, accentuated side skirts, a diffuser, large pipes and larger wheels. Put it in blue please!
Renault has the Paris Motor Show marked the debut of the new Clio. The RS version looks as though ripe, but we expect there yet. On what other show that came on the scene will appear, we dare not say. Geneva is the most logical since the shows that between Paris and Geneva are not held in our continent.
